Before adopting Celayix, EKG Security relied on an alternative ERP software solution, but after being compromised in 2024, they needed to find a more reliable solution. Their search led them to a representative from isolved, who connected them with Celayix, Mobileo, and Sage. We almost went with (an alternate) a couple of years ago. They have all the bells and whistles and features you can think of, but they don’t have enough functionality for our industry. So, as a competitive outlet, they don’t share the functionality that you guys have built in.

EKG’s experience with their previous software was riddled with frustrations. The software was outdated, resembling a DOS-based system with no graphical user interface (GUI), making it cumbersome and inefficient. The tedious, click-heavy process required to generate reports, combined with a lack of filtering options, made basic tasks feel like a monumental effort.
One of the biggest fallbacks that when we were with them and their process was…it was antiquated. And it looked like it was written in DOS. It was very old, there’s no GUI, and it was just boring and tedious. And it was click to click to click to…to get to a report.
And when you got the report, there was no way to filter the report. So, it was like 900 pages of reports, and I got to go to the very end to get to a final summary report, which is all I actually really care about.

But then I could look and see how many others were five minutes late as well. And when you add that up, it’s like, wow, that’s a lot of money we’re losing by people not showing up to work. So, you can go in and make adjustments. I’m a huge fan of that.

We need a more intuitive, streamlined solution,” Gordon explains.
